“Entertainment Weekly, The San Francisco Chronicle, TV Guide and Playboy have all called me “a sexy woman.” (Playboy even said it twice.) Yet, I’ve got a great, big, pointed English nose, a “severe” face, and a snaggle tooth, thanks to a sadistic orthodontist in Acton, Massachusetts. One manager and one agent have advised me to consult a plastic surgeon for the sake of my career. (I have not.) So, I’m amazed when people refer to me as “attractive” and can only chalk it up to self-confidence. I know who I am and what I want and do believe that is all one needs to be found “attractive”.”~Paget Brewster, Femme Fatales

This is even creepier when you encounter this on an empty road at night.

We hunt these people everyday. The question is, how different are we? Us and them.

Six years ago, Steve Carell was still best known for his stint on The Daily Show, plus the occasional bit part in a big Hollywood movie, where he would inevitably steal scenes out from under bigger comedy superstars like Jim Carrey and Will Ferrell. Today, Carell is one of those big comedy superstars — the sort of multi-talented performer who can play a genial every guy or a slightly off-kilter loon, with the occasional furlough into animated work. Incredibly, Carell has become a movie star without ever ditching his day job on The Office, which makes him a genuine rarity in the Hollywood pantheon. Office co-star Rainn Wilson just tweeted that today is Steve Carell’s final day of filming on the sitcom. We shouldn’t say goodbye to Carell just yet. There are still a few more episodes with Michael Scott, and the actor’s post-Office schedule is packed with intriguing movie projects. But let’s all take a moment to consider the end of an era. And let’s thank Carell for all the funny/awkward/sad Office memories — TV won’t be the same without him.

You know he’s a big deal when your 86 year old MeeMaw won’t watch the show after he leaves and calls you to make sure you watch his final show!  Yeah, that really happened.  :D
